  Service was very good, food was fine, price was reasonable. Somewhat limited menu.

  Just left the Cookhouse after waiting about 2 hrs for our food. A few items came out, but they were either over-cooked or cold. It seemed that the cook was new or filling in. The entire problem could have been saved by the waitress if she offered some free drinks or appetizers or even just communicated what the problem was. Instead she mostly ignored us after serving me the smallest bowl of soup I’ve ever had. No discount was offered, and my meal came out incorrect. We arrived just before 5:30 pm and walked out at 7:22 pm. It was our first time here. Never going back.

  I don't know what kind of meat they use in their burgers, but I pulled over on the highway after and puked. Fries were soggy and gross. I do not recommend this greasiest of greasy spoons.

  In our opinion it rather should be 3-stars; considering we are in not such a great culinary environment. The Cookhouse looks like it is undergoing a little depression... the service was very mediocre and not heart warming. The food was ok, just a bit like fast-food upgraded.

  Lillooet is not a big town, so we had to look for every possibility to have a nice diner. We tried the Cookhouse because of the 4-star rating.
